Questions People Actually Ask

Booking's definitely better - we're usually with clients and hate making people wait around. That said, if you're in the area and wanna take a shot, call first and we'll let you know if someone can squeeze you in. We're pretty flexible outside tax season.

First chat's on us - seriously. We'll spend 20-30 minutes getting the lay of the land, figuring out what you need, and whether we're a good fit. No pressure, no surprise bills. If we move forward together, we'll lay out exactly what things'll cost before any work starts.

Whatever works for you. We do Zoom, phone calls, email exchanges, or good old-fashioned face-to-face meetings. Some folks prefer coming in for the initial meeting then handling everything else remotely. Totally your call - we've gotten pretty good at all of it over the past few years.

For the initial consultation? Just yourself and maybe a list of questions. If you've got relevant documents handy (last year's tax return, financial statements, whatever), bring 'em along, but it's not required. We'll give you a proper checklist if we end up working together - no one expects you to know what we need upfront.

Yep, all over BC and across Canada actually. We're licensed to handle Canadian tax matters regardless of where you're located. We've got clients from Victoria to Toronto who we've never met in person. As long as you're comfortable working remotely, we're good to go.

Depends on what you need and when you catch us, but we've definitely pulled some late nights for clients in tough spots. CRA deadlines, urgent audit responses, last-minute corporate filings - we get it, stuff happens. Just be upfront about your timeline when you reach out and we'll tell you straight up if we can make it work.
